Volunteer

Community members can contribute to Literacy Volunteers – Pitt County in a variety of different ways.

- Train to become a one-on-one or small group tutor providing direct instruction to adults.

- Use your professional experience to become part of a resource pool or offer professional
  advice or services.

- Play an important role by serving as a board member.

- Offer to assist in the office with clerical tasks: copying, preparing mailings, faxing, or
  performing data entry.

- Assist with planning, organizing, or participating in special fund raising events.
